Laboratory Diagnostics:
                            Sheepshead Bay Vet Group is equipped with an
                            extensive on-site laboratory, for both routine and
                            emergency diagnostics. Most health problems
                            can be treated or prevented if diagnosed early
                            and correctly. This is why we routinely test stool
                            samples for parasites and recommend pre-
                            anesthetic blood testing prior to surgeries. Both
                            tests are done in-house. We are also equipped to
                            run comprehensive blood profiles for sick
                            patients while you wait in the exam room. Other tests done on premises include Heartworm, Feline Leukemia, FIV, Thyroid testing, Lyme Disease, Urine analyses, and many more. For tests that cannot be done on premises, we have a twice-daily pick up from the two top labs in the United States to insure prompt results.
